Our 2-Year Warranty

At Reconverteur, we offer a 2-year warranty on parts and labor for all our refurbished consoles starting from the invoice date. If you encounter any issues during the warranty period, please contact our customer service available 24/7 via email at contact@reconverteur.com or by phone at 04.73.00.00.00 (Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM).

Our customer service team, composed of gaming enthusiasts, will attempt to resolve the issue remotely. If that is not possible, we will provide you with a prepaid return label to send your console back to us. Our technicians will then diagnose the issues and either repair it or, if necessary, offer a replacement.

Please note that our warranty only covers defects arising from our refurbishment processes. Damage caused by misuse (drops, water damage, forced reading of discs or ports, etc.) is not covered. In these cases, a repair estimate may be proposed.

Payment Methods and Security

We offer several secure payment options:

  • Visa / Mastercard Credit Card
  • PayPal, with the option to pay in 1, 3, or 4 installments without additional fees.

We never have access to your banking information, as transactions are processed through the secure platforms of our bank or PayPal.

Your browsing on our website is fully secure thanks to Let's Encrypt SSL technology. Additionally, our site is scanned daily by the ImunifyAV+ malware scanning service. Your passwords are encrypted with secret encryption keys to ensure their security.

Delivery Methods

We ship to all countries in the European Union. In France, we offer the following delivery services:

  • Mondial Relay: Delivery to a pickup point with tracking in 3 to 5 business days (most economical option).
  • Colissimo without signature: Home delivery with tracking in 48 to 72 business hours.
  • Colissimo with signature: Home delivery with tracking in 48 to 72 business hours, requiring a signature.
  • Chronopost Express: Home delivery in 24 to 48 business hours with tracking and signature (fastest option).

For the rest of the European Union, we prefer:

  • Chronopost Classic: Delivery in 3 to 5 business days with tracking and signature (most economical option).
  • Chronopost Express: Delivery in 48 to 72 business hours with tracking and signature (fastest option).

You can track your delivery progress in real-time with the tracking number provided via email or through your customer account on our site.

For the purchase of consoles, we strongly recommend delivery with signature, the only method that allows you to prove an issue in case of non-receipt. In case of delivery without a signature, the online tracking by the carrier will serve as proof of delivery status with no recourse possible.

Aesthetic Conditions:

  • Perfect Condition: Shows no visible signs of wear. These consoles are practically new to the naked eye and are ideal for users looking for impeccable aesthetics.
  • Very Good Condition: May show slight signs of wear that are not very visible. These consoles have minor usage marks but remain in excellent overall condition, offering a good balance between quality and price.
  • Acceptable Condition: Shows visible signs of wear. These consoles show more pronounced signs of use but are fully functional and represent an interesting economical option.

Whichever aesthetic condition you choose, all our consoles are 100% functional!

Our Refurbishment Processes:

At Reconverteur, we are committed to providing refurbished consoles of the highest quality. On average, we perform 36 quality checks and tests on each console we refurbish. Here is an overview of our process:

  • Batteries: Testing charge retention to ensure optimal battery life.
  • Hard Drives: Checking capacity and performance, replacing if necessary.
  • Thermal Pastes: Systematic replacement of thermal pastes to ensure effective cooling.
  • Micro-Soldering: Thorough analysis of micro-soldering on the processor, graphics card, and motherboard.
  • Ports: Checking all ports (HDMI, jack, USB, etc.) to ensure they function perfectly.
  • Disc Drives: Testing Blu-ray, CD, or cartridge drives to verify their proper functioning.
  • Touchscreens: Checking touchscreen functionality to ensure optimal responsiveness.
  • Controllers: Precise calibration of controllers, replacing joysticks, buttons, or triggers at the first sign of wear.
