• What is a refurbished product?

  A refurbished product is a second-hand item that has been checked, tested, and repaired if necessary to ensure it works like new. At Reconverteur, our certified technicians carry out this process rigorously to guarantee the quality of each product.

• What is the difference between a refurbished product and a new product?

  A refurbished product has been used before, but it is inspected, cleaned, and restored to function like new. New products have never been used before and are sold in their original packaging.

• What is the difference between a refurbished product and a second-hand product?

  A refurbished product is much more than just a second-hand product. Unlike a second-hand product, which may have experienced various levels of use and damage without a guarantee of performance, a refurbished product has been carefully checked, repaired if necessary, and restored to function like new. This means you enjoy peace of mind with a product that has undergone rigorous checks by professionals. Additionally, every refurbished console comes with a 2-year warranty, which is not always the case with second-hand products. By choosing a refurbished product, you opt for a high-quality solution that combines performance, reliability, and durability while also having a positive environmental impact.

• What is the warranty on refurbished products?

  All our refurbished consoles come with a 2-year warranty, parts and labor. This warranty covers defects resulting from our refurbishing processes. Damage caused by misuse is not covered.

• How can I pay for my online purchases?

  We accept secure payments by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) and via PayPal. With PayPal, you can choose to pay in 1, 3, or 4 installments without additional fees.

• Are my payment details secure?

  Yes, we use Let's Encrypt SSL technology to secure your browsing and transactions on our website. Transactions go directly through the secure platforms of our bank or PayPal, and we never have access to your banking information.

• What delivery methods are available?

  In France, we offer the following delivery methods:

  • Workshop Pickup: Collect your parcel free of charge at our Workshop: Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm at 29 Rue Georges Besse, 63100 Clermont-Ferrand.
  • Mondial Relay: Delivery to a pickup point within 3 to 5 business days.
  • DPD Predict: Home delivery within 48 to 72 business hours.
  • Chrono13 Pickup Point: Next-day delivery to a pickup point for all orders placed before noon.
  • Chrono18: Next-day home delivery for all orders placed before noon.

  For the European Union, we use:

  • DPD Predict: Home delivery within 2 to 5 business days depending on the destination.
• How can I track my order?

  You can track the progress of your delivery using the tracking number provided via email or by accessing your customer account on our site.

• What should I do if my console has a problem during the warranty period?

  Contact our customer service via email at contact@reconverteur.com If the problem cannot be resolved remotely, we will send you a prepaid return label to send your console back for repair or replacement.

• Can I return a product if I am not satisfied?

  Yes, you have 14 days from the date of receipt to return a product if you are not satisfied. The product must be in good condition and in its original packaging. Please contact our customer service for more details on the return procedure.

• What are the aesthetic conditions of refurbished consoles?
  • Perfect Condition: No visible signs of wear. These consoles are practically new to the naked eye and are ideal for users who want a flawless aesthetic.
  • Very Good Condition: May show slight signs of wear that are not easily visible. These consoles have minor signs of use but remain in excellent overall condition, offering a good compromise between quality and price.
  • Acceptable Condition: Shows visible signs of wear. These consoles exhibit more pronounced signs of use but are fully functional and represent an interesting budget option.

  Whichever aesthetic condition you choose, all our consoles are 100% functional!

• What are your refurbishing processes?

  At Reconverteur, we are committed to providing refurbished consoles of the highest quality. On average, we perform 36 quality checks and tests on every console we refurbish. Here is an overview of our process:

  • Batteries: Testing charging capacity to ensure optimal autonomy.
  • Hard drives: Checking capacity and performance, replacement if necessary.
  • Thermal paste: Systematic replacement of thermal paste to ensure effective cooling.
  • Micro-soldering: Thorough analysis of micro-soldering on the processor, graphics card, and motherboard.
  • Ports: Checking all ports (HDMI, jack, USB, etc.) to ensure they function perfectly.
  • Readers: Testing Blu-ray, CD, or cartridge readers to verify their proper functioning.
  • Touchscreens: Verifying touch functions of screens to ensure optimal responsiveness.
  • Controllers: Precise calibration of controllers, with replacement of joysticks, buttons, or triggers at the slightest sign of wear.
